How to watch
The Bishops ask that everyone who is able to return to attending Mass in-person does so from the 1st Sunday of Advent.
The Church recognises however that for many people, it is not yet safe enough or practical for them to return. Please see our COVID-19 page for details of the extensive measures we have taken to mitigate the risks of coming to our churches.
If you are still unable to come to church you can continue to participate with our live-streamed services on the Parish YouTube and Parish Facebook page and join in the conversations on our various social media channels.
Our normal live-stream schedule is as follows, this is subject to change as circumstances demand, please see the weekly newsletter for any changes.
- Monday: 6pm, Holy Hour (Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Adoration and Benediction)
- Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 9:30am, Weekday Mass
- Sunday: 9:45am, Sunday Mass
In the long term, once the COVID-19 pandemic passes, it is our intention to contiune to live-stream most services from St Kentigern's on YouTube, for the benefit of the sick and housebound.

Prayer of St. Alphonsus de' Ligouri
During Mass, those who watch the live-stream are invited by the priest to say this prayer in-place of physically recieving Communion.
"My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Blessed Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire You in my soul. Since I cannot now receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. As though You are already there, I embrace You and unite myself wholly to You; do not let me ever be separated from You. Amen."
About this facility
We believe we have one of the best non-commercial live-streaming systems available. It uses a fixed camera close to the Sanctuary so you can see the Altar, Pulpit and the general area of the Sanctuary, so all the "action" of the Mass is clear whilst protecting the privacy of those in the congregation and not hampering the normal operation of the Mass. The audio is taken directly from the church sound system so you can hear everything clearly with no background noise. All those who can be seen on camera have given thier written consent.
